Violence especially against women and girls during the lockdown as a result of the Covid 19 demanded for more government actions, and multisector engagement to respond effectively. Consequent upon which on 10th October2020, the Committee led by Her Excellency Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed, the First Lady paid a courtesy call to His Excellency Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed at the Banquet Hall, government House Bauchi and to the Bauchi State House of Assembly to advocate for Laws and policies that could be implemented to tackle the menace.

State Wide Sensitisation Seminar for Stakeholders
The first Lady organized a State Wide Seminar to stakeholders across Bauchi State on 26th January,2021 to sensitize them on the prevalence of GBV in Bauchi State and the need to fight the scourge.
